What is a good operation rpm for loader work?
72” mmm work will be done also. I would like to make my dpf happy…..
Max rpm is 2500 so I’m thinking 2000 -2200 and up to 2400. I hate to run anything at full throttle.
I have read the manual and I didn’t see anything about that. Please advise.

You’ll find mmm rpm listed under blade spindle speed in your mmm manual under specifications. The RC70-30B is 2400 engine rpm for a 2400 rpm blade speed. As for loader rpm I vary mine based on the load. I run the non-emissions version, LX2610, so I don’t need to worry about DPF issues at reduced power levels.

You will get maximum hydraulic flow and fastest loader operation at full throttle. The DPF will be happy.

Anything on a pto I run at the operating rpm for the pto, in my case rear PTO is 540 (about 2380 engine) RPM, mid-mount PTO is 2500 RPM, matching the engine.
For steady heavy work otherwise, like with the backhoe, I go with the tractor "operating RPM" on my B2650HSD is 2500. That's the RPM where HP and torque even out. Also best hydraulic flow and power.
That is different than "WOT", full throttle on my machine maxes out the governor and isn't as efficient.

FEL, getting around yard, forklifting firewood crates, usually 1500-2000 RPM. And less even if needing fine-tune slower hydraulic action.

I run mine 16-1800rpm for loader work. Mowing, tilling and blower is unusually full throttle. Less regens if you keep the rpms over 2000rpm.
