Hey Everyone,
I'm new to tractors and will be getting a delivery on my first tractor shorty, a used LX3310 hsdc.
I am thinking about putting a hydraulic top link on it (box scraper use) but I'm discovering that Kubota doesn't have anything readily available and the dealers have no info on what would be recommended for this newer tractor. I'm not sure if Kubota doesn't recommend using one at all, or if there isn't enough interest for Kubota to pursue it, or if it is so new that they haven't developed anything yet. At any rate, try as they did, they have not been able to offer much help (not that I would be willing to spend the money they would likely be asking for).

I know I can put something together using after market (AgriStore) components but I'm not sure what length of a Cat I unit I should be looking for. I'm figuring I can use the manual top link as a guide, shortest & longest length should give me the overall specs I should be looking for. Is that correct?
Are there other features I should be looking for as well?
Anything else I should be concerned about or avoiding?
I am thinking that anything in the Cat I rating will be suitable for the LX (30hp) as far as capabilities (lifting and pushing) are concerned.

Thanks for your help,
ChrisO

Take a look at the following link. Base what top link you get on the dimension asked for in the link.

You want to get a unit that has the asked for dimension close to the mid stroke of the hydraulic top link.

Here is a hydraulic top link and hose kit that will work with your tractor. @MtnViewRanch also sells hydraulic top link kits that get great reviews.

- AMA USA 06003 Category 1 Hydraulic Top Link

- AMA USA 67852 Hydraulic Hose Kit with Valve Type Couplers

Wow! that was fast.
Great, I will look into each of these but it looks like all the info Jet1279 provided might do the job.
Thanks,

No really, hard to believe but it's true.
Turns out it belonged to a neighbor who traded it in, with less than 175 hrs, for a bigger tractor.
Came with FEL, box scraper, snowblower, 3rd Function, R14's and factory warrantee till 2026.
I'm hoping to add a front plow, grappler, pallet forks, hyrd top link and rear remote.
Hope it turns out to be a worthy investment.

Sounds like you were in the right place at the right time.
