LX3310 Cab seat cover

I have been looking for a decent cloth or canvas seat cover for my LX3310 cab and wasn't having any luck. It looked like the main suppliers of any tractor seat covers was Durafit and they all looked kinda crappy. They only listed a cover for the open station LX3310 so I finally reached out to them with a photo of my seat. They responded saying I needed a KU33 which is listed for Zero Turn Mowers Z422 Series. The stock photo didn't look too awful bad so I ordered one.

It is a crappy fit but it was obviously intended for the same design seat cut wise. The velcro fasteners for the seat back won't actually connect at the back. I got the front to back straps to hook but the cross strap for the bottom wouldn't go under the seat unless I loosen the bolts. I just pulled those to the rear and will see if it even needs it. The arm rest covers are a pretty bad fit and don't sit flat on the arm rests. I think if I took the seat off and loosened everything up I might could make the fit look better but didn't feel like going that far into it right now.

Hopefully it will feel better than the vinyl finish on the stock seat.

Your cover will look better after some seat time. I know many here really like their Durafit seat covers but I don't like the company (based on contact with customer service) or their products and can't stand the camo pattern, particularly the orange camo, well, all camo for that matter ....

I'm really pleased with the two covers I have from Jay's Equipment Seat Covers. The quality of the stitching and the material is way better than Durafit, and I know that because I ordered a Durafit that didn't fit and the stitching was not impressive!! I opted for a heavy gray canvas to cover the cloth Grammer seats in both tractors. The canvas breathes well, is very comfortable, even with lots of movement in the seat while looking over my shoulder, and the gray goes well with the interior of both tractors.

I looked at Jay's but the fit doesn't look any better so I couldn't the higher price.

I didn't have any issue with the seller. I sent a message from a random eBay ad and he got right back to me with the cover model and link. A couple of days past after I ordered so I sent an email asking about the ETA and he got right back to me and said it would ship first of the week. Probably didn't have the model/color I ordered in stock. It shipped on Monday and arrived yesterday. I liked that the site offered shipping options and they were located in Texas. I selected UPS ground at a couple bucks over USPS.

I have cloth Grammer seats in both tractors and don't want to get grease or any other crap on the seats. It's easy to brush up against a grease fitting or some part of the tractor or implement and get grease on oneself and not even know it until you see it transferred onto something else.

Just out of curiosity: Why do people like to have seat covers inside cabs? What benefit does it provide?

Cloth is more comfortable and less slippery than vinyl.
