Im currently looking at a new Kubota lx2620 and I haven't been able to find the actual length of the tractor with the loader attached. I'll likely stored without the bucket, that can sit outside.

My shed is 20' long and I'd like to have a little bit of wiggle room. I may give the B2601 a harder look. Both tractors are honestly more than I need, but the price difference isn't a whole lot, and the LX seems like quite a bit more tractor for the money.

With a Grapple, third function kit, fluid in the rear tires and they swift disconnect system. I'm looking at $32,451. Does that sound like a fair asking price? Everything's so high right now.

20' is about 6m. An LX isn't much longer than a B2601. I'm pretty sure my tractor shed is well less than 6m, and has heaps of room for my B2601 with loader and bucket. Also watch out for 3ph, some measures are without 3ph.

EDIT: My table says 2.6m without loader. No way the loader is 3.4m extra, it's more like 500mm.

Thank you for your reply. I talked with my dealer and he went out and measured a tractor and he said 14' long with the loader.

What size tires is everybody running on the LX2620? Im thinking the R14 in 14-17.5 He was offering oversized sized, but I felt they were too large for my needs.

I went with the oversize R14 in 15-19.5 on my LX4020 and am very happy with the greater ground clearance and slightly wider stance. I found the R14 perform very well in snow this winter.

I went with the larger R14s as well for the increase in ground clearance. The larger tires do add 15 lbs each, but do allow for extra liquid ballast due to their size.

Do you feel like you lost any stability or did you gain some? And what about the turning radius? I heard it affects turning radius a little bit.

And my property has some hilly terrain and I'm worried about having the tractor hire off the ground making more top heavy.

Andy,
I purchased a 2025 LX2620 earlier this month (yes, with the bucket on the floor, it's about 14' long).

I had the dealer source a set of the large Titan R4 tires, fill the rears, and install the Landpride 3rd function kit (very tidy install). My total, out the door & delivered, came to just under $26,000.

A few days later I ordered the EA 'Wicked Light 55" grapple' which was $2,697.70, shipped. Hope that helps.

Focus on the important stuff. They look cool. If you're not using a mid-mower you definitely should get them.

Thank you.

The best price I could get locally, with the third function valve, quick disconnect loader, 60" Land Pride grapple, fluid filled tires came out to $32,500. To put it in perspective I was quoted $33,200 for the same setup on a at a different dealer B2601. It is what it is😔

You have a sweet tractor BTW.

I have a stand on zero turn so I won't be using it as a mower.

I am trying to focus on the important things. I want some stability for the hills around here and I think the slightly lower center of gravity with the regular size tires are probably the way I'm going to go. The bigger tires do look cool as hell though. Sometimes it's hard making These decisions, im going back and forth.

The R14s do better in the snow from what I have seen, so I'm going to go for the R14s instead of the R4s

Picture of my stand on zero turn.

I really doubt the height would make a material stability difference. I'd get spacers if I was worried about stability - and they also look cool. So then you'd be double cool.

Yeah, it does increase the turning radius. Not that often that I have my tractor hard on the stops. And when I do, it's mostly because I can, not because I need to.

It's not that big a deal either way. My theory on stability is you do spacers first, and if you're really worried about stability take the loader off (makes a huge difference). If that's not enough, fill the tires. I personally think filled tires are a bit of a hassle - it's permanent weight, and can be annoying when you need to trailer it, when you change a wheel for some reason etc. So if you can get away without it, then I would.

I'll be used the loader attached lot so I think the having the tires filled will be a good idea for that.

Other than weight I don't see how having the tires filled would affect trailering? Which I don't plan on doing a whole lot.

Dang it! Choosing the tractor was easier then deciding the setup.🤣

LX2610 with the larger R14’s on a 16’ deck trailer. Your 20’ shed would have plenty of wiggle room with no rear attachment.

Did that 26K include KTAC insurance and taxes? My estimate with 3rd function and filled tire with tax and insurance is right at 30K.

I decided to go with the 14-17.5, other than looks and top speed I really didn't see any other benefit for me personally, I don't think ground clearance will be a problem and the 15-19.5 movie center of gravity up substantially.

This is a pretty nice forum so far I'm probably going to stick around. And of course when I get the tractor I'll be sure to post plenty of pictures.😉
