My LX2610 just died on a slope. The 5A fuse for the OPC was blown. I swapped it with the spare and it blew immediately or as soon as the key went to the first position. No lights on the instrument cluster except for the glow plug lamp when key is in that position. Engine will not turn over at all. Has anyone seen an issue similar to this?

Normally its a bad / shorted safety switch, most of the time it's the HST pedal switch.

I would check for damaged wiring that has grounded out to the tractor around these safety switches. If you have the service manual with wiring schematics, you can check where the circuit goes using the fuse number.

I believe i found the problem. PTO switch reading 82 ohms when it should be open. I didn't have time to start tractor before dark. I have to connect everything else back and clean up the fuse boxes. was surprised at the amount of dirt on them being covered. Is this an easy swap or does the switch connect to anything in the PTO? Will update when part arrives.
