Hi,
I disassembled the RS1351 tiller. The chain had snapped. The chain case was full of gritty water
.
The chain near as I can tell has a 22 or 23 mm pitch and rollers are about 13 mm
There doesn;t seem to be any finding it. The more-or-less equivalent US model is the FL1021 and the replacement chain is available at the eye-watering price fo $350.00. The local kubota dealer cannot tell me the size of the chain they are selling and says I cannot return it if it isn;t the right one.
Motion Industries, my usual go-to place for this kind of thing says they don't have and cant find anything close.
Standard ASME sizes don't fit (I tried) and the British Metric Standard and DIN chains are all actually imperial measures expressed in metric- that is, they will sell me a 'metric' chain that is 25.4 mm pitch. Not helpful.
Any ideas tracking this down?
thanks!
Bill
