I have a B9200 HST with a BF350 FEL, BL4690B BH, 5' Box Blade and a couple of Brush hogs and am going to buy a landscape rake to help grade out and establish some new lawns around the additions that we added last year and longer term help to clear out some old overgrown fields after I get them cut down to size.

I have searched the forum and found that several slightly different recommendations for the size rake to get. Everyone agrees wider than your wheels, but how wide? The local Kubota dealer and some postings recommended a 6' rake as my tractor is 54" wide. Some of the other recommendations I found in postings said to go wide enough to cover your tractor width with the rake turned 45 degrees so that would mean a 7' rake. The dealer said that he thought that it would be too wide.

Anyone have any experience with a B9200 or tractor of similar size with a 6' and 7' rake? Is the 6' too narrow when turned? Is the 7' too wieldy for the B9200?

Any thoughts or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Ready to pull the trigger, but only want to buy once.

Thanks.

Look at a set off gauge wheels also.
L/P does make them as an option.
Makes leveling much easier

you should be fine with a 7' rake If you were looking at grading blades you would want to go a little shorter as you meet more resistance with a blade vs the tines of a York rake and a wheel kit is always good to have
