My "new" B5100 had the saddest looking injectors I could have ever imagined and I'm surprised it even ran with them. I put in two that I had removed and cleaned up from a D850 powered generator unit, better but not really good.

So now I'm looking for people that have gotten injectors from e-bay or other and have both good and bad results so I can decide if I want to buy them from a dealer or try my luck getting off brand ones. I do not even want to think about having the originals rebuild, they are way too bad to for me to even think about that avenue and the local shop charges about the same as new Kubota ones.

so let's here your experience.

I have used Midwest Diesel Injection service at Beemer, Neb. to rebuild injectors for me and have used them for about 40 years now. Always had great results and very fair prices. Phone number is 402-528-3201. Good Luck!

thanks guys:)
I tried a local diesel shop for D850 injectors for a generator and with parts and labor it's the price of new ones at $60 from a local dealer. But at the same dealer it was $105 each for them for my D905 engine on another generator.
I'll see what they want locally. A big advantage getting them locally is they will also have the needed copper sealing washers that none of the online vendors seem to list.
There's a Kubota engine dealer (no tractor parts) on the other side of town close to an hour drive that stocks most everything for the engines and a tractor dealer who needs to order in almost everything but is only a few miles away.

The two different injectors are only different on whether they have steel or rubber and one or two rubber return lines and any of the three will work using existing return line fittings. The return line fittings must be removed to use a socket on them anyhow.
