Hello, I am not a mechanic by any sense of the word, I build houses. But its spring here in WA and I need this part and don't know where to get it, nor the name. Any help would be much appreciated!

Since it's by the battery is it electrical? It appears to be some sort of fuse holder or socket. A bit of background regarding why you think it needs replaced or where it goes would be helpful.

30 amp fuse holder, if you look closely, you can see that one of the copper prongs has broke off.

I am getting nothing from the battery, I am assuming this fuse plays a part in the ignition system. I turn the key and nothing lights up and I get nothing from the starter

I could not find the exact part in the diagrams, but here is a source if you need it.
Essentially you need fuse holders which can be purchased from an auto parts store.
Likely you will have to do some wire cutting and soldering of the new holder.
