Pulling that with a Tacoma? Interesting and impressive. I thought I was pushing the limits slightly pulling my BX23 on a 16' landscape trailer.
My Taco does the job just fine for me. I had an electric brake controller installed when I got my load trail 5200gvw dumper trailer a few years back. Properly tuned electric brakes on each axle are a must, along with a properly balanced load, and good LT tires properly inflated of course.

I feel like I should get the bb1560 60" box scraper for the extra weight with the blower on in winter and also, I think the 66" will work the tractor to hard on inclines full of stone.
I have the bb1560/b2782b combo, a perfect winter pair IMHO for the B2650. And the b1560 full of gravel is just about right as far as tractor power and grip can handle well. I have no weights or filled tires, R4 tires, LA534a loader with standard bucket.

I have worked out a deal I am happy with. My question two you guys now is.

My business is incorporated and the tractor will be used for job site work say 25% of the time and 75% home use. Though it will be a tax write off for my business, should I put the tractor in my name or business name. Accountant says it doesn't matter either way..

Thoughts?

Very excited!

Can't you use it as a full business write-off? You need it to maintain your business driveway and work yard at home, like I do, as well as hauling it out to job sites. If you end up needing for personal use only tasks then the corporation could rent it to you at a great rate! I'm a sole proprietor, not inc'd, yet my driveway and parking area needed for running my business is way bigger than having a spot or two for cars. I'm clearing and grading my site etc. for my business. That's what I needed the machine for!
Anyway, my 2 cents.

Congrats on the purchase! It feels just unreal getting on the thing and learning the controls the first while, enjoy, and take care! 1 1/2 years with my 2650 and it seems there's always new projects it can help with, and my back's a lot happier.

I'd go by what my accountant advises, not what some yahoos on a tractor forum might suggest! (unless they suggest following your accountant). :D:D

It can be complete business write off. Accountant basically left it up to me, but I do know someone who was audited, they were incorporated, trucks were in his name not business name and the government stooge said that he could not claim them. Even though he also had a personal truck and car he used! This makes me feel I should put it in my name. Just looking for other stories. :p

I did put my truck and trailers in the business name.

Next question, 16' or 18' trailer, and what will the 2650 with loader and backhoe weight?

I purchased a B2650 last year. It has the cab and all the bells and whistles. The BH is great and hooks up in 5 minutes. My forks that my Kubota dealer sold me come from Horst welding that is in Listowel Ont. They were $ 700.00. I have had a very bad winter this winter and the blower handled everything I could throw at it. Very easy to start in the winter. This is my 3rd Kubota and this one is the best yet. i also do electrical work which involves underground services. Tree removal and chipping. no issues here. :D:D

Hope this helps

I'd recommend 18'. I have a 16' which is really nice, but I must say now that I'm thinking about moving up to a B2601 or B2650, I wish I'd have gotten an 18'. That said, the 16' hasn't been a disappointment yet, and I use it for things other than just hauling my BX23 around.

On the weight, I had asked my local dealer late last year by email and here's what he sent me. Not sure if it's right or not though, wouldn't be the first thing they got wrong.

B2601 w/R4 tires 1644LBS
Front loader: 926LBS
Mower Deck: 420LBS
Backhoe: 1121LBS

B2650 w/R4 tires: 1708LBS
Front loader: 901LBS
Mower deck: 468
Backhoe: 1389

Let's see, from my manuals that came with the equipment, 1786 lb. B2650HSD tractor, 474 lb. LA534a loader with bucket, and from a Google search because their manual doesn't include its weight, 850 lb. BH77 backhoe.

Equals 3110 lb.

I bought a 18ft car hauler 7000 dual brakes, beaver tail is good too allowing for better breathing room for lower mounted attachments like the snow blower when getting on and off. See my signature photo. A little room to spare at 18 ft, but fitting my pallet forks or other cargo, tying down the load, balancing the load properly, it's nice to have some wiggle room. Plus it seems 18' is a common size for car hauler and this PJ unit was a good price. Main thing is it hauls the tractor and implements like a champ behind my relatively small truck.

Ok, except the weight for the FEL assembly with a 54" bucket is included in the 474 lbs, at least that's what my manual stated. "Include the mainframe, rigid bucket 54" and front guard."

https://photos.app.goo.gl/NNQDNHTfGWvypAvq9

And ok, fluids and fuel and the BH bucket too, but 250 lbs for the FEL bucket? It's true if you have SSQA 54" bucket, add 44 lbs. for the added weight of the quick attach.

Unit + attachments 3110
Fluids 100
SSQA 44
BH Bucket 84

Total 3338 lbs.

I have a B2650 with a backhoe and loader also. I haul it on a 18ft car hauler and it does a good job. It's pulled with a 2014 Chevy 1500. Hauls fine other than the tongue weight can be a bit heavy. I'm putting a weight distribution hitch on so that should fix the issue. I wouldn't go any shorter than an 18' or you'll probably have some things hanging over the front/back. As said earlier 18' is by far the cheapest length since the standard open car hauler is 18'. The backhoe digs like a dream. I've taken out a lot of stumps with it as well. The thumb is irreplaceable if you're going to be doing any brush/stump removal with the bh. You'll love your 2650. I know I do!

Thanks everyone for the advice and insight into my first compact tractor.

Very excited for it to arrive! First big project is already decided. I just found out this week that My septic bed has gone for the shits, so after my septic guy does his thing, I will be landscaping the backyard.

(Quote didn't insert here, but this is towards the comment of why not the B26 TLB)
I was just going to say this....depends on what you are looking to spend. The B2650 will do everything you need to do. Sure the B26 would be better for heavy use, but it is also WAY more expensive.

I get all kinds of work with my little B2620 in the cottage country I love in. And I even get more per hour than guys with full size backhoes, because people hire me because I can get in and do stuff with a very small footprint and no turf damage.
