Brand new here - looking at a 2011 Kubota BX2660 (214 hours) with a LA243 Loader, 54" Mower deck RCK54, BX2750D – 50” front mount snow blower & Quick Hitch Sub Frame BX2751, Ballast Box B8160 and some consumables

It's been stored inside all it's life and has been serviced every 50 hours

A sub compact has been on my bucket list for decades

I appreciate any input on this set up - is it a good deal for my 1st tractor? (I'm almost 50...)

Now wait a minute, you said you're "looking at". In the mid-west that means you're thinking about buying!

But now you've apparently bought it and want to know if it's a good deal. You saw it first hand and was excited enough to give the man a fair price so you were both happy. 33 hours a year won't wear out a tractor very fast! Get to owner's manual and workshop manual and do your homework as you play with it.

You now officially a farmer/contractor and landscaper!:D

What did you give for it really? And as far as jeeps go dude you know as well as I do they are all over the map. If your looking then ask if its a good deal, if you bought it, its a done deal and it doesnt matter move forward and dont look back,,, On the other hand, that little beasty will do things you never thought about doing and your lovely bride will find things you didnt know you needed doing

I worded the subject wrong - I was just checking to see if I got it for a good price or got screwed - my 1st dabble into the world of tractors... $10K for everything plus a case of beer for delivery

That is a very nice setup, I happen to have one just like it, but without the snowblower. I was in my early 50s when I bought my BX2200 in 2003, not my first tractor, but first SCUT and later bought the BX2660. They hold their value very well. There are lots of options available from Bro Tek, BXpanded and a couple more, I jut bought a set of tail light protectors from Paul Short as mu wife tends to break the stock lights.

I had a 2012 bx2660 for 4yrs. One of the best compact tractor made . It did every job I put it to with ease. Definitely get one of the aftermarket skid plates to protect the hst fan. Very expensive to replace if it gets broken

Enjoy and remember one thing, slow and easy until you get it figured out, and remember shes not a 988 so your not going to do things like a big tractor,, you can do them, just a bit slower. And if I came off like a jagoff I am sorry has been a bad day at black rock here to day

You got screwed. I'll give you $10.5k to make you feel better.

Just kidding!

I was offered $10k to trade-in same outfit in BX2360 w/200 hrs. while back. So you're at wholesale or so.

The snowblower/QH/mid-PTO combo is expensive new ($3-4k alone).

I'm thinkin' you did very well on it!!

Welcome to OTT and Enjoy!!

EDIT: Skeets beat me to it! We both have 2360's, and can both tell you they're great.

Thanks everyone! It's definitely my new favorite toy!

Just have to get the wife to embrace it as a big wheel barrel...

I was invited to the sellers retirement party two weeks ago (an end user of mine with work) He mentioned during lunch - do you know anyone looking for a compact tractor, I'm retiring and moving to Florida next week and need to sell my tractor before I leave... I think he ran out of time trying to sell it before time for before he had to leave CT

I wouldn't give up my 2660 for that sum and I do not have the blower. Heck I would have bought it for that to have the snowblower on one and loader on the other in winter. Good buy there, enjoy.

The only time you really need a skid plate is when the mower is off. They are not to hard to build I used an old road sign I found,,coff coff

Just an FYI, if it can happen, it will happen. My fan was trashed with the MMM mounted.

Thanks for the info - I don't plan on having the MMM on while clearing and building a berm for my shooting lane. Lots of rocks and brush on the ground. I like the Bro-Tek because it looks like I don't hve to take it off to use my mower
