Hey!
Had some oil coming out the exhaust, so I've changed the valve stem seals now. The old ones were quite stiff and had lots of slack, the new ones are a whole lot better! Also didn't feel any particular wear/slack in the valve stems. Got some pictures to post later. Tried to clean the exhaust as much as possible, and after having run the engine for a while, there is no sign of oil in the exhaust. But it still smokes a bit, when I rev it under some load. See this video. The smoke in the video is not the worst case, it had more smoke coming out on the previous uphill run. Z650 smoking.

I have the injectors at a diesel shop now, and they are awaiting parts for an overhaul of the injectors next week. Really excited to see what the result is after they're rebuildt. Any thoughts on the smoke?

Wow!
Got the injectors back today and just had them back in before bedtime tonight. :) It fired up nicely and had a noticeable lower amount of smoke coming right away. Didn't run it for long, but now it's ready for a clean cold start tomorrow. Since it had some air in the fuel pipes today I mean. And I'll run it warm before a new test run up the hill! :) I SO hope this is a good result and not just my imagination and exitement!
