Hello... I'm new to the forum and very pleased to have found it. My nearest Kubota dealer is over 100mi away, so maintenance and repair is on my watch. I recently solved an electrical malfunction by reading posts on the forum. My 3yr old spiral GreenTop battery was suddenly down to only a surface charge while reading 12.6v. W/o a battery tester, I was looking everywhere for the problem when it was the battery. In the process of pulling apart the dash shroud, I must have disturbed something else. Now the L-35 doesn't stop at key-off; i have to pull the STOP knob. The cut-off solenoid seems to be free; the plunger moves easily. I need to locate the Cut-Off Timer box next, I think. I hope someone can tell me where it is on the L-35. I haven't jumped 12v into the solenoid because it's been working correctly. I may have loosened a connector by accident. Thanks for your assistance and thanks for the forum too..

Timing relay is located behind dash shroud with the other relays

The Fuel C/O solenoid seems OK, it retracts with 12v. The wire to the solenoid shows no voltage before or after the key is switched off. There is a fuse panel, left side, below the instrument housing, with 2 15A and 6-7 10A fuses. All look good. The fuses are not identified as to function . The schematic in my repair manual doesn't show the fuse box, but just indicates a 10/15A fuse in various circuits. Does anyone know the fuse box ID's for an L-35? Maybe there was once a label on the fuse box.

Here is the page from the Owner's manual.

Swap the headlight 15 amp fuse for the key stop fuse just to double check the fuse

Thank you to Dave and wdLanning for good advice and the fuse box ID. Sorry to take so long in replying, I've been busy doing w/o the tractor on the homestead. At 81yrs, I use the L-35 for work that requires wheelbarrow, ladder, shovel, etc. Today I traced the problem to corrosion in the Fuel CO Solenoid connector. Much simpler than I anticipated. I really appreciate this forum. Just reading some relevant threads has increased my L-35 knowledge.
