Annual tarantula migration going on now in northern Nevada....the body only on these things is a good 2" long, legs and all you're looking at 4-5".

The deer population around northern Nevada has dropped drastically in the past 50 years. Replaced by antelope. This handsome fellow comes to stand in the shade of my trees. There's water there to drink also.

Filmed this dragonfly years ago on my oak savanna. I found it interesting as it chewed it's way thru a fresh meal. Circle of life.

FullSizeRender.jpeg One of many types of tree frogs we have. We hear the chorus of their herds nightly except in winter, but rarely see them. The leaf he’s sitting on is a white oak leaf about the size of the palm of my hand. Frog is about the size of a grape.
