So recently the loader (LA364) on my B2920 is sporadically not moving up or down. The bucket curls just fine, but I can't get the loader to move up or down. There is no certain conditions that is causing this to happen, completely random. Any thoughts?

Disconnect you hyd. connections at the loader valve, one at a time, and reconnect them one at a time. By reconnecting them you may find one not seated properly.

I checked the hydraulic fluid level, and it didn't even show up on the dip stick. Is it as simple as filling the reservoir to fix the problem? Or is this an issue that I should let a technician take care of?

One step at a time! Fill the reservoir to the correct level and try again.

Ya know.....one of the older L245's I work on had this issue (the owner called and said it was stuck.....panicked needing help)......

Well.....

It turned out that the rear 3-point attachment hydraulic system had been positioned in full up, and this had locked up the hydraulics for some reason.....yep, I moved the lever down about 1/2 way, and presto.....he thought I was a genius.

Now.....for one-upping that one: (wish I could have been consulted on this one!!!!!)
My son's girlfriends parents have a older Ford Ranger.
They said it was going slow, and the motor is "sounding weird"
Took it to the dealership
PAID $200 to find out.........wait for it.........

It was in 4 low

:)

D2Cat's suggestion seems to have blown by unheeded. What he suggests is the very first thing to consider after filling the reservoir. I go to my rental machines often for the same thing. A stick/limb etc will brush the things and they will release without your knowing it. Might not be the case but D2 is right about the percentages

Quick update guys: turns out the fluid was REALLY low. Put about 2 gallons in, and all is well. Makes me wonder were the previous fluid went.....🤔
