I'm just getting into a groove with my L3901 and LA525 loader (not quick connect) but I'm running into a serious problem with the support arm clips. I'm currently doing a lot of clearing of "switch tree" thickets and such. First day really getting into it I suddenly noticed a support arm hanging down. The little limbs are catching the spring pins and popping them right out. I limped back to the house and swapped both the spring clips with lynch pins hoping they'd stay on better. Today I lost another one. This time it caught the ground and bent the arm and support pin. I really don't plan to remove the loader at any point so can I just remove the support arms and store them away so they'll stop being a hazard?

Thank you sir! I was pretty sure at this point but I'm still trying to get used to the change from a '48 Cub to a new machine. Trying not to take anything for granted
And you gain a few extra lbs of lifting capacity.

Had similar problems with one of the pins holding the bottom of my QH. Put silver (metalish) tape over the pins on both sides. Problem solved.
