I just purchased a new 2370BX with loader & belly mount mower. While using the loader i realized i need some rear ballest for my tractor to operate safely. doing some research online i found many dealers include a ballest box in the loader package when you purchase it. My question then,is my dealer not giving me part of the package or is it different dealer to dealer? One would think that they would know you are going to need ballest when using the loader & knowing i had not purchased any other implements for the 3-point hitch this would have been advisable.Just curious before i head out to talk with them & see what they have to say.

Thanks for all input to a rookie owner!

Chuck :)

No it's not Automatic / or a package deal to get a ballast box with a loader sale.
If you have a heavy implement you don't need it, if you have a backhoe you don't need it, so it's all based on what you're doing.

Go buy one or just make your own, plenty on here have done just that.

You coukd also fill the rear tires. Around here for that tire size $150 for rim guard or $750 for foamed rears. I'm not sure the weight but filling my rears 14.9x24 was an added 1100 lbs. Yours woukd be less than half that I'd assume.
