I have a B7100 and I have moved several 3.5 foot tall by 5 foot wide round bales with it, out of necessity. We have a 4-H steer and a heifer each year for our kids to show. I had my brother and dad bale up some small bales for us to feed each year. I move about 3 bales a year.

With that said, it is all my 7100 can handle. I have a 3 pt bale fork on the back, mainly use it as a carryall and put a wood pallet on it, but it does pick them up. I put them in the back of my truck, back as close as I can to the cattle pen and then push it out. I finally, pick up the bale and haul it the last 200 feet to outside the pen.

I had a neighbor bring by 2 big straw bales to use as mulch for my garden. I tried to pick them, only lifted the front end off the ground.

Use one of those two wheel bale movers, it would work nice. I have seen people with big 4-wheelers use them to move round bales, or a bale mover on your truck.

Just my experiences.

I have the BX2660 and no way would I attempt to carry any round bales with it. Too small of a unit to do it safely. The only thing I would suggest that hasn't been posted is to use a grapple. Break the bail and use the grapple to take part of it to the cattle. Good luck on your venture.
