How strong is "strong"? I have some "flimsy" ones that can be used up to their rated capacity.

My FEL is rated at 2200 lbs. I used Harbor Freights’ straps to lift a load of stacked R-panel which was at the utmost limit of the LA1002 capacity. It took three trips to get the entire stack put aboard a trailer for transport. (The point is that 3 times it lifted it’s max capacity.)
The problem was not that approx 2200 lbs was easily handled by the straps... the problem was the sharp edges damaged the straps....
They still did not break, but because I failed to protect them from cuts I’ve had to toss them into the trash and buy replacements.
SOoooo..... the HF straps will lift more than your loader will. And they must be protected against damage just like anyone else’s (which are also likely made in the same chineese plant) on the market.

I do not use straps for lifting. I use chains.
But I suppose I would use a strap if I wanted to avoid possible cosmetic damage. Most of the time that is not a concern for what I do...

But I would ask, does what you are doing actually require a strap rather than a chain? If so, please ignore this reply.
I have had good luck with HF grade 70 chains bought on sale at half price...but it all depends on your needs.

I use straps all the time and have several sets. I normally use them off my forks or my fork frame, I am careful and have never damaged a strap or scratched anything I am lifting with straps. I use them with 3/4" shackles most of the time. A good rated strap is as strong as a chain and I consider that a strap is a safer way to lift.
For most things I like about 8' length and use these US Made, over rated 2 ply ones from amazon, I also have some harbor freight straps and will use them on light loads. All lifting practices should be done with a safety factor involved. I do most of my lifting with a MX 5800 or my track loader which has a much higher lift capacity.

I have towed tractors, pulled a car out of a ditch ,pulled out hedges, and many other things with those Harbor Freight straps, I have 3 or 4 sizes and lengths. I consider them a tremendous value. I reckon compared to a chain they seem cheap but they get the job(s) done. I recommend Harbor Freight straps.
