I just purchased a used L2900, and the label along side one control is missing. It is on the right side behind my right leg and just above the diff lock. It has one indentation to lock it in the down position. But what is it?

Looking at the parts diagram I'd say it's the Mid-PTO lever.

Does your tractor have draft control? If so, is there a second lever for the draft control next to the lift lever? If not, then it could be the on/off for the draft control?

Does it have rear remotes?

A lever having one detent sounds like a float position.
