Looking at a Chinese Lenar LE204D. 4 wheel drive 3 cylinder diesel @20hp. I know nothing about these compact tractors other than the company went under and they can overheat. The one that is being offered to me has no FEL and has a 4 foot rotary cutter. Seller is asking $2000. Any idea if it's worth about that? Thanks all

The company went under and they overheat are two very good reasons to say it’s not worth much…..

It would be $50 as an anchor or scrap value in my book.

The cutter is worth $500 on CL or FB marketplace. The tractor another $500 if it runs and drives decent. There are many tractors that overheat and whose maker no longer exists. I can provide names if you wish.

Names of the tractors are not required as I was saying all I know about this one. I know after some more digging that replacement parts might be hard to find for this model as other Lenar tractors were more popular. Thanks for the insight on the price. I'm not sure I can get the owner down that much but I can sure try.

I am sure someone will pay that or somerging very close. In this day and age $2k will barely buy a low end El Cheapo box store lawn tractor. If ii runs and operates with no obvious issues I would roll the dice.

That was interesting - - never heard of those manufacturers before.

I was being a smart aleck with the $50 price-point.

I have had some experiences with parts no longer available (NLA), and that Muphy's Law guy always seems to be at my doorstep....

I know it will be harder to find parts for than the Ford but I could use something smaller and 4WD. Looks like that Red River outfit is a source of parts. I can't many other sources for it.
