Only 28 hrs. on my BX2660 & I backed up into a bench while mowing & broke the left rear brake light cover. Got it duct taped back on but want a replacement. Tried to find a part # via internet but no luck. I must be the only one who breaks a brake light cover. If anyone could provide a part # or a source for the part it would be greatly appreciated by this old dawg!

Hi Sooeyman

I still have a crack through the brake light cover on mine from the previous owner. It might be an idea to see if the BX2660's lamps look like the BX1850/1860's, as my BX1850 part manual shows part number K2581-6278-0 for the lens and K2581-6276-0 for the cover around the lens. Not sure about the $$$ figure, have to call your friendly neighborhood orange guy.

Hope this helps!

Check this Coleman link. The lense itme 100 was $6.90 but indicates discontinued. The next higher up is item 90 and is $28.80, hope this helps.

Thanks for your response. I at least got the part # for the taillight assembly & ordered a replacement for $28.80. The reason the lens shows as discontinued for $6.90 is because they only will sell you the whole taillight assembly. I guess Kubota must follow Harley-Davidson's pricing guidelines.

You are very welcome!

I guess there logic is why nickel and dime somebody when they can go straight for the bigger dollars

Maybe you should order two of them orrrrr move the bench :D
