One way to find out if the original bulbs are wired backwards is to take a VOM and see if the center of the holder (usually positive) goes directly to ground. If that is the case the wires have to be reversed. When I changed my bulbs to LED's on my B2650 if I remember correctly I had to change the wires around just like D2Cat did.

I had to change the rear light's connections on my B2650 as well when the bulbs were replaced with LEDs.

if these light bulbs are 'bayonet contacts', they have a shell and center conductor(s). Traditionally ,by convention, the shell IS ground. How they are mounted (into steel or plastic) doesn't matter. This way, when the socket touches frame no sparks.

On my BX23S, I had to make no modifications to the wiring. Installed the replacement LED bulbs in the headlights, taillight, and front and rear directionals. I purchased my bulbs on eBay from one of the China-based sellers inexpensively.

..........not headlights though, USELESS when loader is on(and it always is....)
My last 3 tractors had loaders. The placement of the factory headlights makes for poor lighting with the loader. Brighter factory headlights aren't an advantage. I have a couple lights on the top/front of the cab and a couple down on the grill guard.

Shooting light under and over the loader works well.

On my B2410 I had to reverse the wires on my head lights to correct the polarity. That's all...
I did do ONE more thing. With a permanent marker I made note of the polarity modification under the hood near the reconnection AND noted the modification and the reason for it in my WSM.
