My wife informed me that she'd like all of the grass and leaves picked up so she can use it in her compost pile. Any ideas on grass/leaf pick up for an older b6200 that won't break the bank.? I don't mind trying to build something but I figure this group has some ideas. thank you.

Sounds to me like you're gonna need a tow-behind yard vac of some sort, or a riding mower with a bagger attachment. I've been looking to see what's available for SCUT's for a long time because I want to aggregate all my yard tools to fewer engines and more pins to connect them to a larger more useful machine.

DR makes a really nice vac, but even that is too small for my yard. It has to be able to eliminate the constant stop/empty/restart operations that slow down cleaning up my yard. Then again, what I do now (bagger on my riding mower) is a lot better than a rake and a wheel barrow. I wanna say that Swisher also has a good machine, but both tend to be a little pricey. Could be mistaken about Swisher, though. Either is pricey, but good quality.

There are some options that should be compatible, but you might have to cobble something together to connect it from your older mower to the newer vacuum. Otherwise, you may still be ahead getting a separate tow-behind yard vac.

Pine needle rake.

Although, to be honest, a Stihl backpack blower is faster. I blow into big piles and then use the loader to transport the piles. I mostly use the rake at the water's edge to get the masses floating in to the beach.
