Leaf blower

I first ran my AgriMetal leaf blower behind my JD750MFWD tractor (17 PTO HP) for many years. At the time of purchase, that blower was rated for 17 HP and under. The JD tractor handled it just fine and I actually wish I had bought the next larger model but I was talked out of that idea.
Today, it runs behind my B2650 and other than the ease of a hydrostatic drive and continuous PTO, there doesn't seem to be any difference in performance.

Not the same sort of tool at all, of course…but I’m pretty happy with not having to drag-around a long power-cord….or spend the money running a diesel tractor…. it‘s light and fits my hand and is portable for my back-porch…. and handy for getting a bonfire going.

Try blowing leaves on a couple acres with copious amounts of hardwood trees with that and let us know how well it does. (FWIW, I have both gas and battery operated handheld blowers. When you search for 3 point mounted blowers, try using debris blower in the search.
This was a mist blower but works well on leaves...
The pump was bad and I could not get it off... I stripped the tank and spray stuff off of it and use it to blow leaves.
Made a sprayer out of the other stuff (with a new pump).

A mist blower---that's some ingenuity and thinking outside the box right there! I wasn't even sure what a mist blower was besides those fans you hook up to the water hose. Thinking back on it, as a kid, I remember the trucks coming through the neighborhood spraying for mosquitos with the big blowers on the back spraying out the insecticide.
Yea, this was going to the scrap yard. I pulled this and a couple other things out.
To be honest, I wish I spent more time trying to fix it up vs. tearing it down. I could use a mist blower for my apple trees!!!

In our yard, it is a maze of gardens, trees, and other obstacles that a tractor mount blower just won't work. I have an older MYD lawn tractor I took the mower deck off and only use it to pull a garden cart or the lawn sweeper. Where I can't get to with the tractor, I use my Husky backpack blower to move the leaves. If you live in the woods, you WILL have cleanup to do. For a while I was just piling the leaves and pine needles up and putting them in the loader bucket and dumping them in the woods. Now I use a chipper shredder to turn it all into leaf mulch.
