Leaf blower for 3 pt hitch

I am utterly frustrated. I just turned 82 in October and am finding out that having a backpack blower to clear my lawn of a lot of oak leaves. The job is getting hard for this old man. I have to clear the yard multiple times each year. in 2016 I purchased a Dr Leaf vacuum that helps, but even that is hard, as I have to empty it 7 or 8 times per cleanup. I want something different and that would be a high volume blower in the 10 to 20 hp range, on a 3 pt hitch so my tractor will do the work. Nothing reasonable out there that I can find. Many of the large blowers are 10 to 20 thousand. A stand on blower is 10 to 15 thousand. i did find a Brave Pro for about 4 thousand, that is towed behind and small garden tractor. That would work, but I would prefer a 3 pt hitch for it to ride on. Is building up a carry all my best option. Seems to me there is a need for a Cat 1 3pt hitch and platform to hold a blower for sub compact tractors to help with yard cleanup,

buy whatever 'stand alone gas blower' you need, bolt onto a skid. backup tractor with carryall, load the skid/blower, chain or otherwise secure to tractor, now go blow leaves....
when done, unsecure the skid,lower 3PH, done for the day.

it IS that easy.

this setup allows you to easily 'skid' various kinds of 'loads'. If you build the blower onto the carryall, it's no longer a 'carryall' just a 'carryblower'.

Make something like this. Maybe mount the bed liner on forks and scoop the leave and dump.

I see the Agrimetal Leaf Blower posted above and in your prior thread Here has jumped up in price to about $5K or thereabouts. Still half of the $10K you're mentioning. And that price spread over the life of the machine makes for a small annual cost.

Our local dealer sells these walk behind blowers made by or called "Billy Goat Blowers".

In a smaller residential setting these might be just the right machine for you? These have also jumped up in price over the last few years, like everything else.

This is what I use. Walk behind leaf blower bolted into the FEL with u bolts. The used walk behind that does a great job and runs like a champ cost me $400.

Use a mower with a bagger and just suck them up and bag them. A leaf blower just rearranges the leaves and if there no rain after you blow them, the wind will just blow them back on the yard. The mowed/bagged leaves are chopped too fine to blow around and are great on the garden compost pile.

I picked up Ryobi hand blower recently. Battery operated. This think has some serious power. I tested out walking around the yard before my knee surgery. Am planning on using this on my tractor while I drive. Get it in a pile, use the bucket to move it. Not hard raking into the bucket. Have looked at those expensive blowers. To much for my blood.

pretty sure it's a VOLUME issue. you need a STRONG blower to 'rearrange' an acre of Maple leave !
I can fill 2 bags on the back of my rider in 50-60' of a leaf pile. BTDT, PITA......
Ideally a 'mulcher / bagger' like a cyclone rake is nice as all leaves but Black Walnut make great compost BUT if you have a place to blow them..... great.

These work good… And only cost around 3k it hooks up to your 3PT and uses one of the rear remotes to direct fan angle. Messick’s sells them.

I pulled this out of a scrape pile... was a mist-blower for fruit trees but the PTO pump was shot and the old broken pto pump can not be removed/replaced. Blows leaves really well...

That is where I am today. I was lucky to pickup at pushable Billy Goat 14 hp leaf blower. It is in great shape, and I really can't do anything with it until spring, but my intention now is to purchase a carryall like you say, and the main purpose is to carry to Billy Goat blower. I'm 82 and don't feel like pushing the blower around next fall when I will be 83. I'll have the carry all and blower a combined unit then, and my Kubota will do the moving up and down the lawn.

You should understand that I do have a lawn mower with leaf bagger on it. Along with that I have a DR leaf vac that hold bushels upon bushels of leaves. This fall those did a lot of work, and still I couldn't keep up., This is why I want the powerful blower. Well I bought one, and will purchase a carryall for my tractor to install the blower on. By fall I should be in better shape. I live in an area where no one wants to work or i'd hire it done.
