Hello, New member here from PA. I'm fixing up a slightly abused L4300DT that I got from a local golf course that closed. It spent its life pulling a 3 gang fairway mower. I would really like to add a loader to it but it appears that an LB552 is my only choice. I do google searches and sometimes i find one that has just sold at auction but in the past three months I have not seen any that are for sale. At this point I'm not interested in an after market loader. Does anybody know if there's a link to some of the big equipment auctions out in the midwest and texas? I think that would be my best bet to find a used or new old stock loader. Also I would bet that there are Kubota dealers around the country that are sitting on these and would like to move them out, but my local dealer tells me he's unable to search other dealers inventory. Any advice?

Bogey52, welcome to the forum and gotta feel good getting a machine back in top shape.

Looking for a Kubota loader that is in inventory somewhere might be a "pipe dream", new or used...but especially new!

On this forum most will advise folks buying new tractors to get a loader THEN because they will be used more then the new owner can imagine, and finding one that fits later IS a challenge.

Best I can say is keep looking on Craig's List using a link like this. http://www.my-craigs-finder.com/

Post up some pictures of your work!! It's an inspiration to others.

Your looking for the wrong loader, The LB552 was rarely used.
Look for the much more common LA682, yes it fits it, and it was also fitted on many other tractors so finding it might be a little easier. ;)

I too didn't want an "aftermarket" loader for my Kubota when I got it, but the reality that finding the right model loader set in.
I ended up finding a Woods loader that was sized and made for my kubota, fit perfectly.
Turns out the stock loader was a wimp compared to the Woods loader, and that's a really odd thing because woods makes the loaders for kubota. ;)

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about the LA682. I know it's better to buy one with a loader already attached but I couldn't pass up the deal on this one. I can always flip it and get one with a loader but I kinda like this one it's growing on me. I will keep looking.

Also thanks for the craigslist search link that's cool
