I'm sorry for your loss. Reading your post reminds me how important it is that I don't take the time for granted that I have been blessed with my wife. I know when I get home this afternoon, I will give her an extra big hug and say a pray for peace and comfort for you that only the Lord can provide.

We lost a BIL to Parkinsons, it is an insidious disease.

Amen to that. Another thing with PD is you deteriorate to a point other diseases attack you . heart trouble actually ended her life.

As several members here before me know what Im going thru , my wife of 58 years passed away Friday 3-28 after a nearly 14 year battle with Parkinson's and 4 year battle with heart problems. I thought I was prepared but no I wasn't, but I will be better.

I know how you feel, and I can understand the grief, as I am experiencing a similar situation with my wife having possible Lung Cancer. She never smoked or did an drinking, and it is hard for us to understand. She enters the hospital on the 30 of april. By coincidence it is 58 years for us as well.
