I'm waffling between these 2 blades for my BX2360.

I have a long'ish concrete driveway I'll need to remove snow from this winter and a Kubota 50" snow blower for my tractor.

Mainly want the blade for touchups that I can't get to with the snow blower and to use as a counterweight for my FEL during the rest of the year.

Any compelling reason to pay more for the 1560 over the 0560? I know the 1560 weighs more than the 0560 which is why I'm waffling. Any other advantages of the 1560 over the 0560?

I have the 0560 and works excellent for snow. But I also didnt know there were other models either at the time, with that said I would of liked to know the price difference for the 1560.
More offsets, possible skid shoes/wheels, heavier duty mold board would make it more versatile for other projects, which I probably do depending on $.
The 0560 isnt enough counterweight for the fel.

The 0560 is absolutely not nearly enough counterweight for the FEL. Nowhere near enough. The 1560 would be better suited for counterweight, still light though. But it'll work. Both will clear snow just fine.

Bill its easy to spend someone else's money, but in this case yes do your self favor and opt for the larger ( heaver of the 2) Im not sure the difference in price but its not worth the PIA, trying to figure out how to add weight to something, when you could have had it in the first place. Bigger and heaver is not always the answer, but in this case it is,, have a grand day, and try not to think about all that white stuff they say we might get this year ;)

Thanks guys. It seems to only be about $100 difference and the 1560 is about 100lbs heavier - so only $1/lb. :D I'll just get the 1560.

Skeets - I'm actually hoping we get some of that stuff this year - first year in the new house with the new tractor and snow blower - so I'm looking forward to utilizing the BX over the winter months. ;)

Bill, I'm with you on hoping for some white stuff. Wife and I recently moved further out to the countryside and I'm hoping to play (oops, I mean work) with my BX this winter. I bought the 1560 for snow as well, from what I've seen it's a good solution.

Definitely go with the bigger 1560, have one on my Bx25 and they work great together. Have a little snow in MN from time to time too and have used it to clear the driveway at the lake. Run it backwards on the class 5 and no digging in. Good luck with the new tool!
