Called my dealer to ask about QH's. He informed me only the QH05 will fit on my BX. I educated him about adapter bushings, and that LP website says the 5, 10 and 15 match to the BX. I don't think the sales guy is a tractor guy. Anyway, I think I'm passing on a QH, at least a land pride. $225 for the 05, and the top hook isn't adjustable. $445 for the 10 or the 15, and only the 15 is adjustable, and in stock. I can't see me spending over 400 since I"m barely a hobby farm here, most of my use is the FEL, though I have used the sprayer a few times already, and plan to do some rolling and aeration work soon. But $445? Nah, I'll just deal with the terrible turnbuckles.

Each person has to determine the value in an attachment, but for me the QH has been great. I switch from box blade, to mower, to carry all, etc. nice and easy. The mower is the only item I have to get off the tractor for and that is to hook up the PTO. All the others I can flip the handles out the back window and unhook, grab the next attachment.

I have the QH10. I did not pay but 375 2 summers ago. I just like having all Kubota/LP if possible. There has been a lot of folks say the Harbor Frieght QH works good and its way cheaper

Any regular brand of QH should be OK. BX really isn't a workhorse type of machine.
Have a Speedco on mine.

Will a PAT's fit your tractor? You still have to deal with the top link, but at least the lift arms are taken care of. I have a Speeco, but there are certain advantages with the PAT's.

Everything I've read says it will fit. For now, I am just dealing with the stupid turnbuckles, may order the ebay set that are way easier, I can't wait a year to get Hodge ones. I mean, I could, but I am not going to. There is no rural king within hundreds of miles of me to get a Speedco, so I'd have to pay shipping. I have seen an awful lot about the horrible freight one that you have to modify the top hook before you can use it on some stuff. I only have three 3PH implements right now, so it's not too bad until I need something other than the ballast box, because it takes a LOT of adjusting on the turnbuckles to get it on the hitch, and not so much for the other 2 things.

What advantages are there to the Pat's quick hitch system?

My apologies, the Speedco is on the B no name on BX it must be the Horrible Freight one. Note: with QH , turnbuckles become a set it - forget it adjustment.

Some QH owners replace the top hook

For me QH compatible means backup raise 3pt - good to go and drop 3pt drive away. PTO's, hoses and parking stands are not an issue. I created a post on modding implements.

I have the QH05 and love it. Fits perfectly with my box blade and tiller.

No big deal but it's Speeco, not Speedco. It might make a difference if someone was doing a search.
