Curious who has one of these finish mowers and what information they may be able to share. They appear to be an older, discontinued model from Land Pride. I am planning on checking one out this week. It appears to be in good shape.

I've had two different LandPride RFM's, but not that particular model. Mine were an AT1560 (or something like that) and an FDR1672. The AT designation was for Air Tunnel as opposed to FD or Flat Deck. the R in FDR means Rear Discharge. The FDR1672 did create small wind rows if the grass was a bit tall.

In general, LandPride decks are built very well. For many years I wouldn't buy a rear discharge. This was due to the capability of a side discharge to blow/gather dry clippings or leaves.

After two rear discharge decks, I wouldn't want a side discharge as the only deck in the arsenal. The rear discharge decks allow mowing in any direction without being concerned with heavy wind rows or blowing clippings into flower beds.

Thanks for the info. Im kinda new to the 3pt finish mower world. Can “mulching” blades be put on something thats side discharge?

I've been using Gator blades on several different decks and they work well. I'm sure not all decks accept mulching kits.
