Land Pride Blades

Thinking about buying a Land Pride RB60 60" rear blade for my B2620.

Good brand choice or is there better? I already have one of their box blades but haven't used it yet. (can't seem to not need my snowblower on a daily basis)

Doesn't show it in the print catalog, but the web site says hydraulic angling is an option on the 60"? Anybody have one?

I have the RB0560, manual angle 6 position. It does not tilt. I use only for snow and works just fine. I have their box blade for heavy duty work.

I just bought a rb1660 on ebay for 240$ Brand new condition. I didnt really plan on buying one, but for the money if I use it once or twice a year it will be worth it.

What series blade are you looking at? There are several that are 60" wide. For your tractor I would be thinking about a 72" width. The heavier it is, the better it will work for you.

Sorry, I misprinted.....the RB-16 60 inch.
72" might be overkill for the B2620?? You think 72" would be better?

I have a box blade, only want the rear blade for snow and slush (like right now when it is melting and don't want to blow gravel) and just smoothing my bushroads in the summer (loamy sand.)

I have a 60" WOODS blade on my B2920 and it works well. When fully loaded going uphill it is enough, especially if it is slippery underneath. Also, it isn't too wide to get into narrow areas.

$775 without hydraulics.

Seem reasonable? Remember.....I'm in Canada, the land of paying double.

Several things come into play.

1st, is-was it in stock at Land Pride?
2nd, free delivery to your dealer, or charged shipping costs?

When I bought my LP RBT45108 it took 5-6 weeks. 1st it was not in stock and had to be built and 2nd, I was willing to wait for their free delivery to the dealer.

I have no idea if any of this holds true in Canada, but that is how it was 6-7 years ago down here in the states, for me at least.

Probably it is not in stock. Most dealers stock the manual adjust units. My local dealer has a dozen manuals sitting in his lot, no hydraulics. On the plus side, you now have plenty of time to rig up the remote hydraulics for it...

Already have the hydaulics and control valve for my rear snow blower chute controls.

I was hoping it would have come in quicker. My forks came in and I was waiting to pic them both up at the same time when I take the drive.
