First time using flat face quick couplers and I noticed that they have a flow direction stamped on them. How does that work when using a double acting cylinder? Never saw a pioneer coupler with a flow direction so a little confused. Thanks

Is that the word "Parker" stamped on the body of the coupler? Post the numbers and I'll look it up. Perhaps it is for when the coupler is used in a hydraulic motor application indicating a direction of lower flow resistance.

Thanks for looking, I did find a note in the parker catalog, "The 3/8" size conforms to HTMA (Hydraulic Tool Manufactures Association) standards. All sizes incorporate flush face mating surfaces which greatly facilitate cleaning of the product when disconnected. HTMA couplings (3/8" only)-coupler and nipple are marked with a directional flow arrow as per specifications. However, couplings are bi-directional."
