LA765 cylinder o-rings

Just noticed that all of the cylinders on my FEL have an o-ring hanging on the rod. Anyone else notice this on there machine? I would assume this was to protect the packing from paint but would like a second opinion. Photos below (I hope)

Your assumption is correct. Once the tractor is delivered you can discard them. And I'm pretty sure they are not covered under warranty!

Yep paint rings cut them off!

Dealer's supposed to remove them during PDI. Most don't due to time constraints.
