Hello from NC.

I've owned my L3600 GST since the mid 90s and have had the LA680 loader since '98-'99. It's been a great tractor and still is. I use it to maintain about 35 acres and occasionally do some light work for other people. Most of the work is bush hogging but I also use my other attachments quite often.

I was searching for some info about my Kubota several weeks ago and
found this site. It's a gold mine of Kubota info and other associated things.

Thanks to the forum, so far I've welded hooks to my bucket, installed a Piranha tooth bar, welded up a 3 point 2" receiver to move my trailers and diagnosed my glow plug problem.

Now I'm thinking about adding a quick attach to my loader so I can easily go from my bucket to pallet forks. I've read about both Kubota's system and the SSQA.

I thought that the Kubota attachment system might be okay instead of the SSQA since I'll only be swapping between the bucket and forks a few times a year. From what I understand i won't have to modify my bucket or forks to make things work. Is this correct? The Kubota system is less expensive too.

Are there any good reasons that I shouldn't go with the Kubota quick attach since I only have 2 attachments?

Thanks for your replies.

On that loader model, I'm not sure of another style of QA other than a SSQA attachment system, do you have a # for the QA you want to use?

Whatever you can get will work for you, I have all SSQA and love it. ;)

What size bucket do you have? I know the Kubota style QA I have will fit several different loaders but I don't know about yours.

Mine to. I'll tell you straight up, the QA was one of the best things I've ever bought. It makes changing from bucket to forks so simple. I've used both types and in my opinion the Kubota style is the best.

Here's the model number for mine

Thanks for the info Bulldog. I assume that model number is for your quick attach?

Changing easily and quickly between my bucket and forks is what I'd like. There's been lots of times when I've needed the forks and just said the heck with it because I hate knocking out those pins in and out and trying to line things up.

Edit- I just searched your model number and it also fits my loader. Now I'll have to see if I can locate one.

I really appreciate it.

Yeah, that's the QA model number. Changing between bucket and fork takes just seconds. It takes longer to get off the tractor and pull the pins than it does to actually do the swap. I don't know what I would do without mine.

Before the QA I would take the entire loader off when I was mowing just because it made it easier to get around. Now I just pull 2 pins, drop the bucket and go. It makes life so much better.

Did you have to modify your forks to make the coupler attach to it? My forks are pin on WR Long brand.

Thanks Bulldog, I was drawing a blank on finding the right and proper QA adapter.

Wow WolfMan, it's unexpected to be able to help you with a part or number so you're very welcome. You're the best on OTT about finding part numbers and diagrams. This is why I like OTT more than the other sites. It's more like helping your neighbor on here instead of just random strangers like it is on TBN. :)

Well... after numerous calls to Kubota dealers in NC, SC, GA and checking CL and ebay, trying to locate a BL1767 QA, I've struck out.

The smaller dealers haven't heard of them and the bigger dealers can't get one since they're discontinued. I guess I'll just have to keep a check on CL and ebay to see if one turns up.
