Hi all,
I'm new to Kubota owning and new to this site.
I recently bought a used 2002 ish L3000DT with a LA450S loader with 1000 hrs on it. Everything works good and I love every minute I'm on it. But, (theres always a but) When I pull the joystick back to raise the loader slightly, it drops, and fast too. If I pull back faster to get past the bad spot it's OK. But I don't always want to pull back that hard especially in tight surroundings. I thought I could live with the problem, but I can't.
I used to think it was bleeding off pressure and lowering but I think it is actually applying pressure down cause I can raise the front wheels by trying to raise the bucket. I hope I've explained the situation clearly enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your loader valve body needs a rebuild. There are lots of o-rings and seals in there, and you should be able to order a rebuild kit...though sometimes Kubota makes you buy the whole part...

Does anybody have an exploded view of the valve. I have a tendency to think I can remember what order parts go back together. Experience has shown I'm not as good as I think I am.

While you have it apart, inspect the spools for wear as well. You can either purchase new ones or have your old ones polished and re-chromed by a good hydraulics shop. Damaged spools or housings can destroy your nice new rebuild seal kit.
