LA211 Loader Bucket

The cutting edge on the my LA211 loader bucket is worn unevenly.
It is welded into the bucket.
My dealer told me the bucket was too hard to drill and add on a replacement cutting edge.
Any solutions for a new cutting edge!

The bucket is not too hard to drill with a step drill bit and 1/2" drill. I did mine to mount a 2" receiver. Maybe the cutting edge itself is to hard but the bucket is not. If you find a wide enough replacement edge you could drill it and bolt one on. BXpanded also makes a straight edge you can bolt on. I have their toothed cutting edge for digging, wouldn't dig half the stuff I do without it. You'd have to measure your bucket and contact them to make sure one would fit.

Any decent welding shop can replace the cutting edge on your bucket. They will cut the old edge off and weld a new one on. Its a very common repair.

I had a new cutting edge welded onto my bucket, then bought a replaceable cutting edge for a BX, drilled holes in the welded cutting and bolted the replaceable blade onto it.
