Hello. New to the forum but looking for a loader. I purchased a B2710HST over the summer to maintain my 3.5 acres. The tractor is in perfect shape, 72" mower deck and maintained to a T. I'm looking for a loader for it and my local dealer said an LA401 or LA402 (later version) will work. They are still available through Kubota (very limited supply) but I was wondering if anyone here had one for sale or knew of a place I could find a used one. $4600 installed with tax was a bit of a shocker when I only paid $8900 for the tractor. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Used loaders are VERY rare, and if you find one they are usually ragged out or don't have the proper mounts. Nobody that has a loader decides to sell it, at least not without the tractor attached to it.

You could try Woods, Quicke, and Westendorf for an aftermarket one, but They won't be much cheaper.

Oh, and welcome to OTT :D

Second what Kenny said, and that sounds about right for a new FEL.

Thanks for the info guys. What you said is what I'm finding so far. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anywhere I should look.

The other option if you have a bit of loose cash hanging around would be to find another tractor complete with an FEL. The tractor doesnt have to be anything special, in fact the worse the better. Pull the FEL off that one, put it on yours and then sell the tractor you dont care about to recoupe the difference.

If you buy it right this will absolutely be cheaper than the almost $5k your looking at otherwise.

I just pulled this move when I needed a snowmobile trailer and didn't want to spend $1000 for one. I bought a used package deal with two sleds and the trailer for $3000, sold one sled for $1,800 and the other for 1,500 within 2 weeks! Instead of spending $1,000, I ended up with a trailer AND $300 in my pocket!
