A $15 pressure gauge and $5 tee installed at the power beyond outlet on the loader valve will diagnose functioning of that circuit. Its also a valuable addition to any tractor owners tool chest.

My bet is the circuit is blocked for reasons unknown and the pump is dead headed against the loader relief. But I have been wrong before.

Dan
I ordered it

Lower it and leave it there!!! If the 3ot is locked down by the hoe the 3pt will deadhead the pump and you will have exactly the priblem you are describing.

Where does the hoe get hydraulic power?

Dan
well don’t I feel stupid! That what you get when you get you buy a machine and know nothing about it’s workings! Thank you guys so much!! That’s all it was…..

I am still wondering where your backhoe gets power. Does it have its own PTO pump?
Yes, there’s a pump slipped onto the pto shaft.
Backhoe is giving me some issues also, it I’ll start a new thread for that! Thanks again!

Your 3 point should be the 1/4 inching style like my B7510. The lever should be auto centering to neutral when it hits the top of the upper arms travel. I'd guess your linkage is missing, not adjusted properly, and or return spring is missing as well.

I guess there is a centering position but it doesn’t come out up automatically
Should I leave it in center?

His 3pt arms cannot hit top of travel. They are locked down by the backhoe mounting frame.

It took me about two pages of posts to realize he even had a hoe on it.

Dan
For some reason I thought it was a factory hoe, not a 3 point mounted hoe. Yep... felling pretty dumb lol.
