Measure not time - e.g. cylinder retracts X inchs in Y hours.

1 yr. old, L6060 with LA1055 Loader,L2209 bucket. Purchased New,from dealer.
WithLoader bucket empty
Loader arm drop in 1 hr. was 1 3/4".
Bucket roll in 1 hr. was 2".
Dealer says thats "Normal.
During two recent past warranty service visits they did correct lift capabilities back to factory spec.'s by adding shim washer to main relief valve. But NO improvment to loader arm drop or bucket roll.
Is this normal for Kobuta's ? None of my past, other brand, loaders did this .

Unit as new worked fine,no problem lifting a full bucket of " 3/4m/gravel. But now Lifting capability has decreased over past few months and loader arm drop and bucket roll has steadily increased.
Dealer has acknowledged the drop problem, had the tractor for a week and returned it with same problems. They have it back again, but have offered nothing as to cause or fix ? They did bring us a loaner but my confidence in their electro-hydraulic issue repair is fading. Has anyone expierenced same ?
Wow! Consider yourself lucky.

Dealers that I have worked with rarely (never?) provide loaner equipment.

Agreed, I am Not unhappy with dealer so far, they have provided GOOD service to me for years.
But is my loader drop/bucket roll "nomal", and if not, does Kobuta typically not correct their problem's if in fact it's theirs.
Trying to figure out whats normal. I do not believe a new unit should work this way.

I measured lift leakdown on my 3 year old LA525 and got almost exactly the same number.

In the three years I have owned it i never found that to be a problem and was a bit surprised by the actual number.

A couple of inches leakdown in an hour is entirely normal and no cause for concern. What could be a cause for concern is the practice of leaving the bucket elevated for a long time like that... for safety reasons. All it would take would be someone inadvertently bumping the joystick (kids maybe?) or a failed hose, etc. and the bucket will instantly drop to the ground. Your tractor, your business, but developing the habit of lowering the darn thing to the ground when you get off to do other things is not a bad idea.
