Noticed today that the Stall Guard feature isn't working. When selecting from the mode switch the Stall Guard isn't displayed on the instrument panel and Stall Guard isn't working. All other HSC features work fine. Any inputs on how this works and where I should start poking around?

No inputs so I figured I'd ask one more time 🙂

I have the WSM but it doesn't say much about troubleshooting, just how it functions I was hoping for more details on checking the switch, measuring voltages, stuff like that, but there is nothing in the WSM

I started tearing things apart. Pulled out the HST Response/Mode switch module and that checked out fine. So, I pulled the dash display module out and took that apart. As I was hoping my only problem is a blown-out bulb.
However, it's a small bulb with wires that wrap around a small socket that twist lock connects to the display pcb part #T1060-30270, damn thing is $10 for a plain old bulb.
I'm looking to see if I can find just the bulb somewhere without the socket or maybe replace the bulb in the socket with a LED.

Just wanted to follow up for anyone that has a blown bulb in their display module.
I did not find a direct replacement bulb going by the dimensions of the OEM bulb. So, I went with a CEC #2182 bulb, bigger diameter and height than the OEM, but according to the specs, good for 40,000 hrs. The next smaller size was smaller than OEM. The #2182 is a 14V bulb, and from what I measured the voltage on the PCB for the bulb when energized is only 10V, so although not the spec'd voltage for the bulb it is bright enough.
I had to ream out the plastic socket that the bulb goes into to 15/16" to make it fit. Not a big deal, it's a plastic socket and was easy to do. The longer height of the bulb was not an issue.
instead of 10 bucks for the Kubota replacement, I bought 10 of these bulbs for 6 bucks. Tractor and I are happy.
Problem solved.

So are you selling bulbs? ;) ;)

I did the same thing when working on an old Bobcat skid steer. Had to buy 10 bulbs and they are still laying around!

When you had the display apart, did you note if the rabbit/turtle would use the same bulb that you replaced for your stall guard bulb? My rabbit is burned out, and it would be nice to get it replaced or even both, as the turtle may be on its way out, too. Also, presumably there are no colored lights, just a green filter on the display?

Thanks!

All of the mode lights use the same bulb. No colored lights, the magic is done by the filter on the display.
