All,

I don't want to call the dealer tech because I didn't buy from a dealer. It is NIB, I pulled the staples out to open it.

I just purchased a L9443 auxiliary rear hydraulics kit for an L48 TLB. True to form the instructions simply say there is a high pressure in, a return to tank and a power beyond (pb) and to hook them up according to the instructions in figure xxx. Figure xxx shows nothing but an arrow to each of the in, pb, and return. Fricking helpful.

I know exactly where the return to tank goes because it clearly is a nipple that goes into the transmission fill plug. The high pressure in and PB I assume will connect in line the two lines normally hooked together when the backhoe is off or maybe even when it is still attached. It is not clear as the instructions say install per instructions and that golden nugget of information is missing.

So simple question to owners of this kit, am I correct?

Thanks.

I have never done one. But welcome to the world of Kubota's instruction sheets. They're all like that. Written in Japanenglish, or we call it Jinglish.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Indeed sometimes the Japanese lose some in the translation years back for sure.
I have a Belarus made in Russia and when they can't figure out the words to
explain it they simply don't finish the sentence in the instructions. Thank god for pictures or I'd be in deep trouble.

Hi Steve,

Regarding which line goes where, my L48 doesn't use that kit, but basically, the new valve can be added to the L48's main circuit, either upstream or downstream of the FEL valve. To install it downstream, connect the FEL valve's PB hose to the aux valve's IN port and connect the aux valve's PB to whatever the FEL's PB goes to now. The exhaust can go to the tank wherever it's handy. Exhaust hoses can be teed together. Will your new aux function be used while the BH is mounted? If not, the backhoe swing is a separate circuit and connecting there uses IN & exhaust only. I added a QA grapple valve using the swing circuit. Take care, Dick B

P.S. on the FEL valve, the IN port is top front, PB at the back.
