L48 Bucket controls

I have an L48 and the Float position for the front bucket doesn't seem to work. It wont float. Is there adjustment in the controller?

Just to clarify...is it that the joystick won't go into the float position or that when it is in the float position, the bucket won't float?

What does the bucket do in the float position? Leak down? Power down? Just sit there?

Is this a recent happening? Did it work normally before? Has any maintenance been done? Lines disconnected?

Is this cold weather development? Maybe water leaking in and freezing blocking spool travel?
