My L4760 started spraying fluid when I was using the brush cutter this past weekend. I attached a few pictures of where the leak is. It's almost directly under the pedal on the right side of the tractor, on the bottom. Anyone know what this might be? Wondering if this is something that's an easy fix that I can handle myself, or if if i need to bring it to the local Kubota dealer.

I’m no expert, but that appears to be a banjo fitting. Have you tried tightening it?

it tightened it a little bit, and it actually made it leak more. with the tractor on, it was a drip every few seconds. After tightening it a 1/8-1/4 turn, it started dripping a couple times per second. Tried turning to the left to see if it was a reverse thread, and then it really started coming out. i ended up turning it to the right to a tight fit, and it still drips a couple times per second while running.

I am dealing with something similar. Mine, as it turns out has a cracked braze on the banjo. Try this: clean all fluid from the banjo, just so that you can observe EXACTLY where the fluid is coming from in the next step. Get in a position so you can observe banjo carefully; stay safe, then get a helper to just bump the starter/key so engine does not start. On mine, I had to do this several times but when I looked in the right place it was immediately apparent that the hydro/fluid appeared on the side of the banjo, not from under the bolt, but on the side where pipe meets banjo. In my case it appeared the instant the starter bumped the engine. Now I have to find someone I trust to fix the pipe without letting the banjo twist even a tiny bit.
