L4740hstc stuck in reverse

I have a L4740hstc and when it is warmed up it sticks in reverse and surges when backing up it does not seem to act up when cold
Any suggestions on the problem thanks

From what I've read here check the foot pedal linkage first. Report back, I've got the same tractor minus the C.

Not certain if it matters in this situation, but you might want to specify which series L4740 you have. (-1, -2 or -3).

After a little more looking at it it appears that the Hst valve is sticking heading to the dealer to see if they have one when it is stuck in reverse I can unplug the Hst petal and it still backs up
