I have a 2021 kubota l4701 with 88 hours on it and it has the electric switch for the pto. The first mow of the year I turned the switch and nothing happened. I turned the tractor off and back on and when I turned the switch the pto turned the mower and all has been fine for 10-15 hours of mowing over a couple months. Now I turn the switch and either nothing happens or the pto comes on and spins for 10 seconds to a few minutes and shuts off. I have checked to see if any of the wires lose voltage or change voltage at the switch when the pto stops and every wire stays the same voltage as before but no pto until I turn the tractor off and turn the switch (sometimes first time sometimes many on and offs but it comes back eventually. My dealer said I should change the switch and see if that’s it but I expected the multimeter to show a loss of power or fluctuations but it didn’t. I’m worried maybe pto solenoid but just don’t know. I use it to mow fields so it sits a lot but all connections were cleaned and checked to pto switch and seat switch. Clutch adjusted just in case.
