Hello, I just purchased an L4330 from auction. It appears to have been used to haul miners in and out of mine sites. My problem is the latest it does not move nor does the steering work. It starts and runs perfectly. I noticed the hydraulic reservoir was empty as it does have some good leaks. I put 10 gallons of fluid in with no change. Am I looking at a new hydraulic pump or are there other things I need to check first? Thanks in advance for the advice!

Is it HST or GST or gear drive?

HST transmission has it's own pump, internal, called a charge pump. If no travel with an HST, could be a lot of things ranging from hst failure to charge pump failure to clutch disc failure, etc.

No drive with a DT-usually clutch (but not always).

No drive with GST-again, can be a lot of things.

Since nothing's working, you need to find out if there's any oil reaching the pump. Pump is mounted on the right side of engine on the back of the injection pump area, has big pipe coming into it and a couple smaller pipes going out. Remove the flexible hose from it and see if you're getting any oil up there. No oil-restriction between pump and transmission case (check for damaged suction tube), or filter failure/plugging.

Pump failures are really rare on these tractors.
