My Kubota L4330 was working wonderful over the past week, then after a few hours of bush hogging, I went into some deep weeds and the tractor cut out on me. The tractor runs for awhile and then dies, like it not getting fuel. I changed the fuel filter and dumped the fuel in the bowl out. I turned back on the fuel cock, but I noticed the bowl fills really slow. If I wait until the bowl is full, then try the tractor, it will run awhile until the bowl is about empty and then die again. I noticed my o-rings need replacing (just ordered them now), as it is now leaking. I bleed the fuel lines using the air vent cock, per the manual ...

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help!

Check your fuel cap vent, and shine a light down into the tank, you might have something blocking the drain to the fuel bowl...:D

Thanks dyidave, I will check that. How does the fuel get feed from the tank to the fuel bowl, is it just gravity or is there a pump involved?

First page of chapter 4, page 1-M5 of the WSM shows the fuel system for the L3130, L3420, L3830, L4330, L4630 and L5030. From the tank to the fuel filter is all gravity feed. Downstream from the fuel filter is the fuel pump, then the injection pump and then onto the injectors.

I second the comment about checking the fuel cap, then the tank drain.

Good luck!

Some models have a screen on the input to the fuel filter, and that has known to get clogged.
Pull the line that goes to the fuel filter off, and see what the flow is there. ;)
