Ok, I took my L4200 with me to pick up some woodworking tools that were too heavy for me to lift. When I got there the tractor wouldnt start. I had plenty of electric power everywhere else. Lights worked. Gauges worked. I took battery cables and cleaned those up and even cleaned up where the negative cable attaches to frame. No change. Finally i tried jumping the starter terminals and she roared to life. Had to do the same thing again at home. I’m assuming that i rattled something loose on the road. Do we think it’s the starter switch or something else? Thanks.

I FREQUENTLY KNOCK MY PTO LEVER OUT OF NEUTRAL WHEN GETTING OFF. CHECK ALL OF YOUR SAFETY SWITCHES FOR THAT MODEL.

I would check all of the starting related cables including the grounds. Sure sounds like something doesn't have a great connection if you can jump it.

It doesn't sound like this is related to your problem, but on my Deere, the seat bouncing while in transit will change the interfacing with the seat switch. Often, I have to lift the seat and reposition the bracket that holds the switch.
