No lights in the dash will come on and the alternator will not charge.. I have checked the the fuses that I know about and have put a new alternator on and still have nothing... I have run a test light across the the connectors that plug into the back of the dash and don't have any power going to the dash... help please, I'm dumb when it comes to this tractor

When/how/why did all the lights go out? When did the alt stop charging? Check main slow blow fuses most likely located near battery

I don't know your tractor, but generally they have a couple of slow blow fuses or fusible links. Follow the wires from the battery positive and see if there are any connectors/plastic covers etc which are hiding a fuse or fusible link underneath. Alternatively follow the main wire from your alternator back to the battery.

There could also be connector problems up in the dash area, check to ensure all the main connectors are plugged in and haven't become dislodged.
